MAY, 2009. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JUDE! Look who’s five years old now! Jude’s first-ever benefit was held on May 13 at Maxwell’s in Hoboken, New Jersey, featuring live music by The English Beat! See the benefit page for more information. Jude Owen (a.k.a. Judo) Chávez is a very happy five-year-old boy who currently attends the John A. Coleman school and resides at the New York Foundling Hospital in Manhattan. Some of the activities that he enjoys are music, napping and jujitsu. He has been steadily gaining weight and enjoys eating textured foods. Not only has he exceeded the height and weight expectations for a child with Cri du Chat, he is in the normal range for his age group. Very long, very skinny, very hungry.
